Support and Training Interventions

The support and training interventions for this programme are divided into two tiers. See the pathways to access page for more on this. Below we outline the specific support and training sessions for each part of the programme. Some of these sessions are open to all students registered for this programme, while others are ordered according to your level of enrolment.

Click on the links below to see the full list of available sessions and their scheduled dates. ‘Blast’ sessions will be incorporated into the courses as we become aware of aspects that students struggle with. These are ancillary to the set sessions and are designed to zoom in on competencies that require further attention. Lastly, one-on-one and peer-to-peer sessions will be arranged with students who are identified as needing this intervention. We will communicate the dates and arrangements of these to you via email and on the College of Graduate Studies’ social media accounts.

• Foundational Academic Integrity Development MOOC 
  This MOOC is open to all registered students for this programme. The first intake for the MOOC is the first two weeks of September 2020, but you can enrol for, and complete it whenever you are ready. It is a three-week MOOC.

• Online Masters Proposal Development
  We will take you through every stage of your Masters Proposal development journey. You can follow along with the sessions in order, or you can join us for those sessions that you feel you need extra help with. We are here to accelerate all your offerings however, so do not miss out on anything because you feel you have dealt with it already. You can always improve on what you have!
