The Thabo Mbeki Foundation and the University of South Africa invite you to the International Women’s Day Dialogue taking place on the 8th of March at The Forum, Bryanston.
The event will commence with an opening ceremony featuring a keynote address focusing on accelerating action in financial inclusion. Throughout the day, attendees will engage in panel discussions and interactive sessions to generate actionable strategies. The first panel, "Breaking Barriers: Strategies to Accelerate Financial Inclusion," will explore policy reforms, legal frameworks, and institutional practices necessary to overcome obstacles. The second panel, "Innovations and Technology: Catalysts for Inclusion," will explore how digital financial services, mobile banking, and fintech solutions can serve as accelerators.
Workshops and breakout sessions will provide interactive environments for participants to discuss financial literacy, access to credit, entrepreneurship support, and community-based solutions. The event will conclude with a closing ceremony summarizing key takeaways and allowing stakeholders to present their commitments to accelerate action.
