if the mountain will not come to Muhammad, Muhammad must go to the mountain
Definition:  if one’s plan fails, there must be an alternative way to execute the job at hand
Usage:  since it is me who wants the book ‘child in darkness’, and you say you are not coming to school tomorrow; it is then the case of ‘if the mountain won’t come to Muhammad, Muhammad must go to the mountain’; I will, therefore, have to come for it
