Vice-Chancellor's Annual Review 2017
At the end of 2017 this higher education sector in South Africa was set a new - and laudable - challenge: providing free education to poor and working class students. For Unisa, 2017 as once again a year of leading change, with the result that the university is ready and willing to manage the aforementioned challenge, and new ones that will undoubtedly arise, in the best interests of all concerned.
It once again gives me great pleasure to share with you, in the form of a short and entertaining video, Unisa's main achievements in 2017. It was a year in which the university led change in providing a skilled workforce, conducting true African research and serving its many communities in novel ways.
I trust that you will enjoy this brief overview, and thank you for your ongoing support of this great institution.
