The International Student Symposium on the SDGs provides a platform for 4th year undergraduate, honours, master’s and doctoral students to present the results of the research for their study projects related to any of the 17 SDGs in an interdisciplinary forum with a global reach and to exchange ideas on the SDGs with peers, academics and researchers working in this field. The focus of all presentations has to be on the implications of the research on the SDGs by the students for people and the planet. The organisers believe that this event will provide valuable growth and networking opportunities for participating students, providing them with new perspectives on their research and exposing them to the relevance and range of opportunities associated with research on the SDGs.
