'Durga Puja 2025' is written by mistake

[edit]

Hello, I acknowledge that, there is a mistake done by me that you pointed out in the message. But I can't rectify it laterally.

Thanks,

A CFD you closed

[edit]

Hi, Sbb1413. I was reviewing CFDs that I'm following and came across this one: Commons:Categories for discussion/2017/06/Category:Stop signs by inscription. I see that you closed it (in September 2024) with some actions listed, but it doesn't look like the actions were taken. I'm just nudging you to get this one followed up on. Thanks in advance. -- Auntof6 (talk) 06:15, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Flora -> Plants - Category description template

[edit]

Hi Sbb1413, when you rename the "Flora of ..." categories into "Plants in ...", you will need the possibility to replace {{Category description|Flora by administrative division}} with {{Category description|Plants by administrative division}}. Please ping me when the time has come, and I'll prepare the necessary steps. Thanks --Reinhard Müller (talk) 11:44, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I'll ping you soon. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribsuploads) 13:39, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Category Barnstar for you!

The Category Barnstar
Dear Sbb1413 dada,
I give you this barnstar with appreciation of your extensive works on categorizing the uploads. I know how hard it is and I really appreciate your hard works. Your works are certain to bring about changes to the world. Cheers to you! — Meghmollar2017Talk21:53, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for this barnstar. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribsuploads) 10:32, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

US states

[edit]

Why did you remove the "Categorise" template from the state pages in the United States? Are these no longer main categories that require diffusion and maintenance? Are we to allow these categories to fill up with multiple images that more appropriately belong in subcategories? Was a decision to do so made by the community that I am not aware of, or did you do this on your own initiative? You did not give a reason or a justification for your action in the "Edit summary:" as you should have done. Farragutful (talk) 14:32, 9 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, it was a part of a community consensus to replace {{Categorise}} with {{Diffuseat}} at Commons:Categories for discussion/2020/01/Category:Categories requiring diffusion, recently reopened as I found a few cases where this template is still needed. Categorizing music by year

[edit]

Hallo, could you help in the discussione started here https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Categories_for_discussion/2025/03/Category:Music_in_Lombardy_by_year with a group of Wikipedians opposing categories for music by year, saying it gives birth to category that are too small and not meaningful? They seem not to grasp what a chronology is... It was all started by one person, who then called a group of people sharing his point of view. Thank you. --User:G.dallorto (talk) 21:20, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
