File:Alderley Edge Methodist Church - geograph.org.uk - 3213071.jpg[edit]

Redundant. We already have File:Alderley Edge Methodist Church.jpg, which is the same picture rotated to a vertical orientation. I don't think the sideways version is of any value. bjh21 (talk) 10:22, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

True, but let's add the geograph stuff including license information to the older file, and add the geograph number to the file name. --Schlosser67 (talk) 06:29, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Schlosser67: Assuming that by "geograph stuff" you mean structured data, I've added coordinates of depicted place (P9149) and creator (P170), and expanded copyright license (P275) to include the title and author name. I've left depicts (P180) alone because I think a human-chosen value is more likely to be correct that the bot's spray of vaguely-relevant terms. I've not added source of file (P7482): file available on the internet (Q74228490) because the file at File:Alderley Edge Methodist Church.jpg has been rotated and hence isn't the version that's available on Geograph. The SDC user interface doesn't seem to allow me to add a second coordinates of the point of view (P1259), and I assume again that Peter I. Vardy had a good reason not to use the value from Geograph anyway, so I've left that alone. As for the file name, I don't think that any of the criteria at COM:FR allow for renaming a file just to add an external identifier, so I think the name should stay as it is. --bjh21 (talk) 10:36, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. There is no good reason to retain it. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 14:16, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. It's redundant and the useful text descriptions have been copied over to the other file. Marbletan (talk) 15:32, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
