It's like any other page you create on Wikipedia. Search for a category if it doesn't exist there will be red link, click on it and create it. Next step is to add that category into relevant parent category like, Category:Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 in Bangladesh belongs to main category of :Wiki Loves Monuments in Bangladesh. বিজয় বায়ান্নো লোগো is not a free logo. This is the official logo used by Ananda Computers, Bangladesh. So I think it should be reviewed whether this file is suitable for Commons or not.

Merging Account[edit]

Hi, At Requests for Checkuser, User:Eatcha made a request to confirm that I am User:Boothsift, which was confirmed. However, I still need help. I accidentally logged off my main account, losing my login credentials and did not set an email. Is there a way to merge that account (contributions, permissions, etc) with this new account?

However, if your identity checks out then you can simply ask to add your previous account rights to the new one. Identity confirmation is usually handled by the WMF's m:Trust and Safety team. The logo uploaded on Commons is not a free logo and not an own work of the uploader. As it is the official logo of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh. So, it should be reviewed whether this file is suitable for Commons or not.

Licensing the photo of Javed Patwary[edit]

Hello there! I was wondering if you could tell how you got the photo licensed. I uploaded a photo of the new IGP Benazir Ahmed but still having issues about the license. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content, that is, images and other media files that are not subject to copyright restrictions which would prevent them being used by anyone, anytime, for any purpose. Now if you are not the copyright holder of a specific image/media, then best thing you can do is ask the Content creator or copyright holder to release the specific work under compatible license and request him/her to send an email to our COM:OTRS via permissions-commons@wikimedia.org using COM:ET format. Please read Commons:Welcome to know how to use Commons. The author information you have provided in this file File:IGP Benazir.jpg is wrong. R Habib just reuses the photo. The image is all over the internet and probably taken by the police headquarters (at least it is a official portrait of some kind). I've got a quick update for you, containing three items:

I’d like to invite you to our group’s second Virtual Meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2020. As last time, this meeting will serve as an opportunity to get to know each other better, share learnings, and connect in times of the global COVID-19 pandemic. If you'd like to present, please add your name and the proposed topic to the list on the talk page.
Also, I'd like to start a conversation about how we should be sharing responsibility for the user group going forward. I'd love to get some help when it comes to organizing things and I'm convinced that we can achieve more if a couple of people helped with coordinating stuff.
Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has asked me to spread the word about their latest survey: Universal Code of Conduct Survey. The goal is to create a safer environment on Wikimedia projects and the Foundation gathers feedback prior to coming up with a first draft.
