31 academics from the University of South Africa (Unisa) are ranked amongst the top 2% of the most cited scientists globally. This is according to the latest rankings by Stanford University, one of the top universities in the world, and Elsevier, a reputable global information analytics company. This achievement, which affirms Unisa’s stature as a formidable player in the global research space, looks at the most cited scientists whose research has a global impact.
The Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Prof Puleng LenkaBula, and the Unisa epistemic community, congratulate and thank these outstanding academics for their contribution in increasing the University’s citation index.
