Update on the Application and Verification Processes of the 2023 SRC Elections

The registration/application/nomination process for interested student structures to participate in the 2023 SRC Election opened on 1 May 2023. The extension was granted until 9 June 2023.

We have received a total number of 40 applications across all 8 regions and the verification process is now underway.

We will communicate with individual structures as we carry out the verification in case of outstanding information. Please note the grace period for rectifications will be 22 to 28 June 2023, no extension will be granted after this period.

A press briefing is scheduled for 30 June 2023 to announce the qualified structures which will be on the ballot to contest the 2023 Unisa SRC Election.
