Unisa alumni in Mauritius focusing on the human connection

The Unisa Alumni Relations Office concluded 2022’s activities with a visit to alumni in Mauritius. The office had the opportunity to visit 18 of the 21 chapters this year, and rekindle relationships with Unisa’s valued alumni after the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more

Bezalem Eshetu Yirdaw, a PhD student in Unisa’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology, was announced as one of the top 20 scientists awarded the 2022 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Sub-Saharan Africa Young Talents Award for her work in child morbidity. Read more

Caroline Matenchi, Unisa’s Biomedical Science student and inventor of an Agricultural Smart Sensor, has been accepted into the UK Future Female Business School Accelerator Programme.
