On 14 October 2024, a poignant ceremony was held in Durban as Ntokozo Debra Dlamini was posthumously honoured for her academic achievements. Following her tragic passing on 27 February 2024, it was up to her daughter, Bayanda Thalente Dlamini, to collect her mom’s Bachelor of Education (HEQSF) degree, which symbolised the culmination of her relentless pursuit of knowledge and her unwavering commitment to education.

Her dedication not only benefited her studies, but also inspired those around her.
Education was not just a goal for Dlamini – it was a belief system.
