Ekurhuleni flocks to exhibition

Gauteng Region held the fourth annual career fair at its Ekurhuleni Regional Service Centre in Daveyton recently. The fair was aimed at providing a platform for interaction between various organisations and students about careers relevant to their fields of study, bursaries, learnerships, internships, and job opportunities.

The indoor open layout of stalls allowed students, job seekers, teachers, and visitors to freely engage the different exhibitors. In the meanwhile, specific study field presentations were held separately in the breakaway rooms. One-on-one consultations were also accommodated by the exhibitors.

Hector Mothudi, member of the organising committee, declares that “it was a successful event with an attendance of well over 200 students, job seekers, and visitors. The exhibitors actively participated by displaying career information and engaging the attendees.”
