Fly our national sporting colours on Fridays

Excitement is reaching fever pitch as South Africa’s national rugby and cricket teams – the Springboks and the Proteas – are making major strides at, respectively, the Rugby World Cup in France, and the Cricket World Cup in India. This past weekend saw many a Unisan dancing like no one’s watching when the Bokke emerged victorious in a nail-biting semifinal against old foes England, with the Proteas – captained by Unisa alumnus Temba Bavuma – getting the job done against the same country earlier on Saturday.

You are encouraged to support our giant-slayers by wearing the SA fan gear of your choice each Friday, or anything green if you don’t own replica apparel. The Rugby World Cup concludes this coming Saturday when the Bokke play the All Blacks in a much-anticipated final, while the Cricket World Cup continues until 19 November.

Go, South Africa, Unisa is behind you!
