Together we can make a difference

The Unisa Foundation, in partnership with School-Days, have made the programme available at Unisa. School-Days is a programme which enables individuals to raise education funds for their chosen beneficiaries. The programme was initiated at Unisa in March 2022 to assist students with bursaries.

By signing up for the programme, individuals earn Edu-Time Points (ETPs) to help support schools, colleges and universities of their choice with fees and still earn the usual retailer loyalty points.

In June, the programme launched a winter campaign where Unisa would receive R15 for every subscription. The target was to reach 1000 subscriptions by the end of August 2022 for the university to earn R15000, which would go towards student bursaries. To date, the university has obtained 761 subscriptions and raised R11 415 through the campaign.

Here’s what some Unisans who’ve subscribed to the programme have to say:

Anonymous says: “I want to be a responsible citizen by contributing towards a good cause, as a way of living and my effort in nation building for sustainable future generations.”

Lynette van Niekerk says: “I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that I am supporting Unisa towards student bursaries with the School-Days programme and, at the same time, getting rewards like 3% of at The Harvest Table. It’s a win-win.”

The Unisa Foundation is thankful to all Unisans who have signed up and are active supporters of the School-Days programme.

You can also make a difference by signing up for the programme here: School-Days® – Education for our Nation (schooldays.co.za)

The sign-up is free and takes less than three minutes. Please also remember to add Unisa as one of your beneficiaries. Together, we can make a difference.
