Tshwane Regional SRC members craft a powerful ethics pledge

The Tshwane Regional Students Representative Council (RSRC) attended an ethics training workshop on 02 August 2022 at the Sunnyside Campus. The training was organised by the Ethics Management Division and Department of Student Affairs.

The objective of the training was to enhance the significance of moral behaviour and moral leadership in the SRC. Following the training, the RSRC members pictured below were given a task to craft their collective ethics pledge as commitment to the Institutional Ethics Drive as Tshwane Regional SRC. Their ethics commitment is presented below the photo.

As the Tshwane Regional SRC we pledge to ensure that in the offices we occupy to serve students and champion student issues, we will lead with integrity, respect, discipline, honesty, commitment and humanity, hence the institution is a brand and us being part of the brand, solely means that it is our responsibility to ensure that in all that we do, we shall remain committed to serving the broader student community of Unisa, through care and humanness, which will assist in building a community that works in co-operation, commination, collegiality and commitment for the betterment of the institution holistically”.
