Unisans celebrate spring with hard-won qualifications

The Unisa Eastern Cape Region held its first spring graduation ceremonies on 12 October 2023 at the East London Christian Centre.

More than 700 qualifications were conferred during the spring graduations. Among the students who graduated were the former Deputy President of the National Student Representative Council, Qhama Mati, who graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), the former Secretary of the Unisa Eastern Cape Regional Student Representative Council, Siseko Kameni, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, and the former Deputy Secretary of the Unisa Regional Student Representative Council, Pelokazi Gibeni, who graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

The Unisa Eastern Cape Region spring graduations were a success as everything went smoothly and the graduates’ family members came in numbers, making it a great turnout.  

The graduation ceremonies highlighted not only the resilience of Unisa over the past 150 years but also the hard work, and dedication of every single graduate.
