Unisa International Piano Competition 2024 finalists announced

Six brilliant young classical and jazz pianists have been selected as finalists for the 15th Unisa International Piano Competition. The final rounds take place on 02 (jazz) and 03 (classical) February. The prize-giving ceremony will be held at the Unisa’s ZK Matthews Great Hall after the classical final round.

The finalists in the classical category are Elizaveta Ukrainskaia (Russia), William Bracken (United Kingdom) and Leo De Maria (Spain).

The finalists in the jazz category are Tomás Jonsson (United States of America), Dabin Ryu (South Korea) and Zibusiso Makhathini (Durban, South Africa).

The final rounds will be streamed live on Unisa’s YouTube channel and broadcast at a later date on M-NET/kykNET.
