Vivian A Atud holds a PhD in Commerce from Wits University’s School of Economics and Business Sciences, a postgraduate diploma from Unisa and a BSc Hons in both Economics and Women and Gender Studies from the University of New Brunswick in Cameroon. She currently works as an international consultant on a broad range of issues, including capacity development, economics, social dimensions of health, genders, transformation and related issues in Africa. Dr Atud has published various articles locally and internationally and she has also written two book chapters and one book. She boasts more than 15 years of extensive experience in research and capacity development and has been an examiner and moderator for various institutions. She has also peer-reviewed several research articles and lectured in various institutions.
