Dr. Newman Tekwa (PhD) is a post-doctoral fellow at the South African Research Chair in Social Policy under its extended research theme ‘Social Dimensions of Land and Agrarian Reform in International Perspective. Dr. Tekwa has a passion for collaborative research and his areas of interest include land and agrarian reform, water sector reforms, gender, and social policy. Currently, Dr. Tekwa is the Lead Researcher for Group 10 cluster of countries comprising South Africa, Zambia, and Mauritius under the Gender Equitable Transformative Social Policy for Post COVID-19 Africa (GETSPA) Research Project covering 31 countries across Africa.
