The Institute for Catalysis and Energy Solutions (ICES) hosted visiting scholars from Shandong Jianzhu University, Jinan, People’s Republic of China. The scholarly visit is part of an ongoing Green Energy research collaboration between Professor Ndzondelelo Bingwa of ICES and Professor Hui Li from Shandong Jianzhu University. The Executive Dean of the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology (CSET), Prof. Bhekie Mamba, emphasized the importance of symbiotic international research collaborations for the development of emerging researchers within ICES. Furthermore, the Executive Dean congratulated Prof. Bingwa for establishing a fruitful collaboration with Shandong Jianzhu University and wished them success in their research endeavours. A follow-up research visit to China by two researchers from ICES was also initiated.
