Charting New Frontiers and New Perspectives: Advancing Teaching, Learning and Student Support in Open Distance and eLearning (ODeL)

Welcome to the International Teaching and Learning Conference

Join us at the International Teaching and Learning Conference, a pioneering event hosted by the University of South Africa. This conference is a nexus for educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe to collaborate, share insights, and explore the latest advancements in Open Distance and eLearning (ODeL).

The theme of the conference is “Charting New Frontiers and New Perspectives: Advancing Teaching, Learning and Student Support in Open Distance and eLearning (ODeL)”. This theme reflects the dynamic nature of ODeL in the Global South, especially in the African context.

The need for us to rethink how we teach, learn and support our students has forced us to redefine the boundaries that have defined how we should engage within the higher-education space in the Global South and African context.

Key Focus Areas: Innovative teaching methodologies, technology in education, curriculum transformation, student support strategies, and more.

Dates: 6 to 10 May 2024

Location: University of South Africa, Muckleneuk Campus, Tshwane, Gauteng, South Africa

Mode: Hybrid (In-person and Online)

The International Teaching and Learning Conference is more than an event; it's a movement towards redefining the landscape of open distance learning and eLearning. Be a part of this transformative journey.
