[edit]Why are you moving pictures to a higher and overpopulated category? --Simonxag (talk) 09:59, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Fishbourne Harbour
[edit]Hi, thanks for all the work you've been doing with the categorisation of harbours recently as it's made some of the town and village categories a lot clearer. I've just put up Category:Harbours in Fishbourne, Isle of Wight for discussion (here). I noticed a Geograph image named "Fairbourne Harbour" which I'm fairly sure is a mistake. I've never heard anywhere called Fairbourne Harbour since I've lived on the island and can't find any mention of it online either. It's basically a photograph of Fishbourne Harbour and so I've categorised it as such and will also move the file. Therefore, with only one harbour in Fishbourne, I didn't think it was necessary to have a category to disambiguate between any more. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again, Editor5807speak 22:29, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi i noticed you had at some point been making notes on this users talk page. I am wondering if you got anywhere on that occasion? I have tried to raise further problems due to this users actions and have had no response so the problems just continue. Babydoll0409 (talk) 09:59, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]I've commented on your proposal here. I think this should be sorted out sooner rather than later (despite the existing delay) because at some point, it will impact on the work I'm doing on UK counties. Cheers. Rodhullandemu (talk) 00:03, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Category:SZ_Class_644 has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category. In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you! |
