- The idea that an user could get permabanned banned for simply stating that a file is potentially libelous or defamatory towards the subject seems a bit too extreme. Maybe it's time to relax it a bit? Trade (talk) 12:27, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

Reason for reporting: Apparently a sockpuppet (Category:Sockpuppets of Saranphat chaiphet) created for block evasion, because this user has been trying to upload exactly the same copyright violation files which are related to Nan Province in the same manner as the socks in the mentioned category, not to mention that his username is also similar to the usernames of the socks in that category, such as PickOil (talk · contribs), Pickoil412 (talk · contribs), PickOil281994 (talk · contribs), PickOil9386 (talk · contribs), etc, which indicates their relationship.

Problem with permissions
Hi, I have been trying to update some of the icons for making maps, but keep getting a message to say I do not have permission to do that. (See Talk:BSicon/New icons and icon requests#Wide road bridge that obscures icons beneath it) User:Useddenim has suggested that any administrator should be able to fix that for me. - @Bob1960evens: Hi. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/290. The proposal to "Limit file overwriting to users with autopatrol rights" was accepted with many supports and one weak oppose 15:19, 23 September 2023 (UTC). After an implementation problem in phab:T345896 and testing, Special:AbuseFilter/290 went live with the Disallow action 09:35, 28 October 2023 (UTC). Please read MediaWiki:abusefilter-warning-file-overwriting.
