Abstracts related to the above topics should not exceed 300 words and should address or contain the following:
- Theme and title of the paper, which also reflects a clear description of the topic and its importance or relevance
- Name(s) of the author(s)
- Contact details of the author(s), inclusive of e-mail(s) and contact telephone number(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Main category within the conference outline to which the abstract relates
- Keywords

- Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 30 October 2026
- Full paper submission: 31 January 2027

Information on Abstracts
- Abstracts for the conference must be submitted to dubetv@unisa.ac.za and luthulp@unisa.ac.za.
- Best accepted full papers will be considered for the special issue in Mousaion: South African Journal of Information Studies.
- To ensure that your paper is published as a research output, the full paper must be submitted by 05 December 2026. Please note that it cannot be uploaded to the Mousaion before presentation. Qualifying authors will be notified, and an appropriate link for submission will be provided.
- Submitted papers should be limited to 7 000 words or approximately 25 pages in length.
- Please use the Chicago Manual of Style referencing. Manuscripts must be presented as: A4 pages; normal margins; 12pt Times Roman; 1.5 line spacing.
- Please clearly indicate the category of your paper on the title page.
