Lightning talks session

LIGHTNING SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Date: 1 March 2027 

A critically important and integral part of the UNILISA conference series is the lightning talks, which provide a platform for doctoral students to share their research experiences and learn from one another. The lightning talks also afford senior academics an opportunity for mentorship and capacity building. Abstracts related to the above topics should not exceed 300 words and should address or contain the following: 

  • Theme and title of the paper, which also reflects a clear description of the topic and its importance or relevance
  • Name(s) of the author(s) 
  • Contact details of the author(s), inclusive of e-mail(s) and contact telephone number(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Main category within the conference outline to which the abstract relates
  • Keywords
