Conference Theme and Scope

Submissions for ITLC 2026 should align with the conference theme: Hope through Transformation: Advancing Sustainability, Inclusion, and Digital Innovation in Higher Education Practices. Contributors are encouraged to explore transformative approaches to teaching, learning, research, and student support that harness AI, digital technologies, inclusivity, sustainability, and human-centred innovation in higher education.

Submission Categories

  1. Academic Papers: Research-based or conceptual papers (maximum 3 500 words, including abstract, figures, tables, and references) that present original studies, case analyses, or innovative practices related to the conference tracks and themes.

  2. Academic Posters: Visual displays highlighting key research outcomes, pilot projects, or institutional innovations in areas such as digital inclusion, sustainability, or AI-enhanced learning.

  3. Academic PowerPoint Presentations: Oral presentation slides summarising innovative practices, research findings, or reflective insights relevant to higher education transformation.

  4. Workshops and Interactive Sessions: Proposals for 60–90 minute sessions offering hands-on, collaborative, or experiential learning activities that promote inclusive, sustainable, and transformative teaching and learning practices.

Formatting and Submission

Please follow the detailed formatting requirements outlined in the author guidelines for each submission type. All documents should use clear academic English, 1.5 line spacing, and consistent referencing (APA 7th edition preferred). Figures, tables, and visuals should be embedded and appropriately captioned.

Review Process

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigour and relevance.
  • Authors are expected to address reviewer feedback and resubmit revised versions promptly.
  • Ethical considerations must be clearly stated, including institutional clearance or participant consent where applicable.

Deadlines and Submission Platform

  • Respect submission deadlines as communicated on the official conference website.
  • All submissions must be uploaded through the ITLC 2026 online submission platform (link available on the registration page).
  • Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
