Ms Elizabeth Masoleng
Enterprise Development Associate Tshwane University of Technology
Ms Elizabeth Masoleng holds the position of Enterprise Development Associate at the Tshwane University of Technology within the Center for Entrepreneurship Development. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the Entrepreneurship Work Integrated Learning Programme (WIL), the Entrepreneurship Start-up School, a range of Enterprise Development Programmes, and the EDHE InterVarsity competition.
Elizabeth holds an esteemed position as the programme manager for the Africa Oceans Council HaQuathon initiative, promoting innovation in the maritime sector across the African continent. In addition, she serves as the Deputy Chairperson of the Student Entrepreneurship Coordinators Community of Practice under the auspices of EDHE. Furthermore, she contributes her expertise as a member of the advisory board for the Institute for Advanced Tooling (IAT) at Tshwane University of Technology.
She has held the esteemed position of Director in the Economic Development and Special Planning Department at the City of Tshwane Municipality. In addition, she served as the project manager for Tshepo 10,000, which stands as the City’s flagship youth development initiative. This programme provided valuable support and mentorship to youth-owned cooperatives, facilitating their access to market and supplier development opportunities.
She possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Mancosa and a Certificate in Municipal Management Development from the University of Pretoria. She has also acquired training as a Training and Development Practitioner and holds certifications in Total Quality Management from UNISA. Furthermore, Elizabeth has completed programmes in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and participated in the Entrepreneurship Spin-in Challenge at Aarhus University in Denmark. Currently, she is advancing her academic journey by pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration, with a special emphasis on Entrepreneurship and Public Sector Management.
