Counselling & Career Development

Counselling and Career Development provides support before, during and after the completion of your Unisa studies. We provide career, academic and personal guidance and counselling to prospective and registered students in person (individual or group), by telephone, e-mail, letter, fax or printed publications.

In-person

You can see a career counsellor in person during office hours by appointment.

Group experiences

You can join a Unisa student group to assist you to achieve academic success.


Telephonic consultations

You can contact counsellors telephonically.


E-guidance and counselling

We provide an e-guidance and e-counselling service to prospective and current undergraduate and postgraduate students regarding career decisions, qualifications and subject choices to studies at Unisa.

Our website contains information about career, personal and academic matters. The aim of the website is to guide yourself by navigating through various online resources; with the option of contacting us via e-mail, telephonically or in person.
