You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? deleted Eumetsat-based images

Hi, on 2020-11-11 you have requested deletion of 5 images :

because of a change of EUMETSAT license since 2019.
But you haven't provided a document, a link to this new license.

Today I've found the document EUMETSAT DATA POLICY [1], dated jan 2020.
On p.11/37 §2 Definition : '"Advanced Image Product": the combination of different channels allocating a colour to eachchannel (i.e. RGB) or the mathematical blending of several image layers.'

RGB composited images are the basis of my uploads

On p.13/37 §4 : 'EUMETSAT shall make [...] Advance Image Products available to all users world-wide on a free and unrestricted basis, [...] as "Essential" Data and Products'.

as a "free and unrestricted basis", it seems that the images I've uploaded are in accordance with licensing requirements on Commons.

The terms of use of EUMETSAT stated that "Unless otherwise noted, you may download and copy content from the EUMETSAT website(s) for your own personal and non-commercial use. For any other use of the content, you must request authorisation from EUMETSAT." Non-commercial use doesn't fulfill Commons:Licensing. --A1Cafel (talk) 14:45, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

@A1Cafel, Polarlys: sorry, but as stated above, there is a document giving some rules overriding "Unless otherwise noted"!

This document is in Legal Framework / Data Policy (eumetsat.int main menu)

Have a look at this document, at https://www-cdn.eumetsat.int/files/2020-05/pdf_leg_data_policy.pdf

because it give "free and unrestricted basis [availability] to all users world-wide", for "Advanced Image Product".

Hello. Is File:FvfBulacanHeritage0303 14.JPG de minimis compliant? While it may originally depict the mansion, I find curious why it was categorized in a category devoted to "graffiti" (though it is legally painted as per my experience here, on such wall paintings). @JWilz12345: It could be. I would say it falls on Commons:De minimis#Guidelines number 4. The murals is identifiable and an unavoidable part of the image, but not important. (After blanking, the image is still potentially useful). --A1Cafel (talk) 10:53, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
