Dr Catherine Mkude is an expert in information systems strategic planning and implementation, evaluation and sustainability. Dr. Mkude has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in E-Government with specialisation in strategic planning and implementation from Koblenz University in Germany. Dr. Mkude attained MSc Business Information Systems Management at Middlesex University in London, United Kingdom, where she specialised in software systems failure, e-commerce systems and knowledge management. Dr. Mkude graduated with BSc. in Computer Science at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Dr. Mkude serves as the Director of the Institute of Educational and Management Technologies at the Open University of Tanzania. At the institute, Dr. Mkude oversees adoption of e-learning solutions and ICT in general by the University. Dr. Mkude is also a lecturer in information systems in the Department of ICT at the Open University of Tanzania.
