Eleanor is a marketing executive at Transfrontier Parks Destinations, a company dedicated to developing and managing community-owned tourism enterprises across Southern Africa. 

She project-managed the successful designation of the !Ae!Hai Kalahari Heritage Park as an International Dark Sky Sanctuary and continues advocacy for Dark Sky Conservation in Southern Africa. This work has sparked a deeper interest in the intersection between tourism, conservation, and behaviour change—particularly in how we inspire guests and communities to value and protect the night sky.

Her role spans strategic planning, product development, trade engagement, and on-the-ground support for properties in both South Africa and Eswatini. Her work has focused on integrating Responsible Tourism practices into business operations, with a strong emphasis on local economic benefit, conservation, and meaningful community partnerships. She holds a B. SocSci (Economics) from UCT.
