Leonora Tima is the founder and managing director of Gender Rights in Tech (GRIT, formally Kwanele). Leonora is a child rights, gender equality and anti-gender-based violence activist.

She is a NPO specialist, with over 16 years' experience working specifically with youth and survivors of gender-based violence. In 2023, Leonora was recognised amongst the top 50 most inspiring women in technology in Africa and in 2024 was the winner of the Wired4Women Tech for Good Award.
