The University of South Africa through its Management Committee (ManCom) approved the Unisa Internationalisation Strategy as a steppingstone towards the advancement and implementation of comprehensive internationalisation across the institution aligned with the promulgated national Policy Framework for Internationalisation of Higher Education in South Africa.
The institutional strategy will be consulted at various internal forums across the university from staff, students and all relevant stakeholders. This strategy is aimed at ensuring that all institutional initiatives on collaborations, partnerships and internationalization are regulated but further to ensure that internationalization is infused in all relevant institutional strategic documents, policies, etc.
A series of engagements, such as webinars, lecturers, community engagement programmes to unpack the National Policy Framework for Internationalisation of Higher Education in South Africa are underway and UNISANS should be on the lookout for such.
