The recent results of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings have given Unisa reason to celebrate improvements in its National and Global Rankings. It is expected that Unisa will continue to rise as it revamps and strengthens its academic and research innovations in the wake of the newly introduced strategic/signature areas, which include a focus on oceanography, marine science, transportation/the automotive industry, digitalisation and ICTs.
