Dr. Walied A. M. Hussien Elsaigh is a Senior lecturer and a researcher in Civil and Chemical Engineering department, University of South Africa. He obtained his basic degree, B.Sc. honours - Civil Engineering (University of Khartoum/Sudan). He has B.Eng. honours, M.Eng. and Ph.D. Engineering (Pretoria University/ South Africa). He worked as research assistant at Pretoria University, post-doctoral fellow at Cincinnati University/ USA, Assistant Professor for Omdurman Islamic University/ Sudan, Assistant Professor for King Saud University/ Saudi Arabia. He has authored and co-authored articles in peer-reviewed conference proceedings and reputable journals. He supervised and co-supervised post graduate students and also serves as a reviewer for some south African and International journals. His current teaching duties includes: Pavement Technology and Geometric Design of Highways.
