While Unisa has six regional centres across South Africa, its main administrative functions are based in the province of Gauteng. The university also boasts an academic centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The university has campuses in Gauteng, located in Johannesburg and Pretoria. All campuses are within easy reach of the OR Tambo and Lanseria International Airports. The campuses are:

There are two restaurants on the Sunnyside Campus. One is located in the Es’kia Mphahlele Building and the other in Building 6.
