Projects

  • Familiar with RTDS (real time digital simulation) RSCAD software used to simulate real time power systems, knowledgeable with protection of distribution systems. Able to configure hardware relays and simulate faults to determine whether protective system designed will perform function successfully.
  • Maintenance of High Voltage Laboratory at the Westville and Howard College (University of KwaZulu Natal).
  • Assisted with corona power loss experiment at the HVDC Eskom Centre (University of KwaZulu Natal-Westville).
  • Design of a high voltage measurement system to calculate current through conductor bundle at varying frequencies.
  • Performed data analysis for insulation coordination of a High Voltage system.

Short Biography:

Miss Kriselda Chetty obtained a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2019. She is currently working towards a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
