Psychology of Education is an area of study that focuses on the application of psychology and psychological methods to the study of development, learning, motivation, instruction, assessment, and related issues that influence the interaction of teaching and learning.

• As a department, we focus on curriculum transformation to ensure quality, comprehensive open distance e-learning (CODeL) education.

• Learning processes, learning challenges, different learning styles, motivation.
• An understanding that assumptions about the nature of learners development and learning underpin all decisions made by classroom teachers.
• Educational Studies in a psychological and diverse context.
