  • Recipient of the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal bursary to complete master’s degree in social justice education (2017-2018).
  • Recipient of the National Research Foundation grant for completing Honours degree in social justice education (2015-2016).
  • National skills awardee to complete Bachelor of Education (2013).
  • Awarded and recognised by Golden Key International Honour Society for being in the Top 15% of students who were academically excelling at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (2013).
  • Recipient of Dean’s Commendation award for being a top student achiever in the course (2013)
  • Recipient of Victor Daitz bursary for an excellent academic standing (2011).

Projects

  • Founder and director of NED Vico Foundation (Non-Profit Organisation) which provides career guidance to young people in rural areas and previously marginalised groups. (2015 to date)
  • Active member of Golden Key International Honour Society (2013 to date)
  • Active member of Community Development Association known as CDA at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal under the leadership of Prof. Thabo Msibi (Dean of the school of education at UKZN)

Other

  • First student in the history of Business Management as a course to obtain 100% in the examination. (A certificate of merit was awarded) 2013.
  • Former Board member in Golden Key International Honour Society (Edgewood Campus), as an Historian officer. (A certificate of appreciation was awarded) 2014.
