Nthabiseng joined the department in April 2023 as a lecturer. Before joining the department she worked at the National department of Human Settlements as an Intern in the Special Investigation section. After the end of the internship programme , she was appointed as a Forensic Investigator. Nthabiseng has also worked as a tutor , success rate coordinator and Part-time lecturer at the Tshwane University of Technology
