Biography:

Adefemi O. Adeodu, received B. Tech Chemical Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo-State, Nigeria, in 2005. He had his masters and Ph. D. in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, 2010 and 2017, respectively. He was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (September, 2012-February, 2020). He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, University of South Africa, Florida, Republic of South Africa.

Dr. Adefemi O. Adeodu major in the following areas of specialization: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management (Development of an Artificial Intelligent System for Optimization of Industrial Process Productivity and Profitability. A Case of Smart Manufacturing, Optimization of Complex Processes in Manufacturing Industries using Artificial Intelligent System, System Dynamics and Lean Six Sigma, Design, Productivity and Efficiency Measurement in Warehousing: Lean Warehousing in Total Supply chain and 3PL Environment), Human factor and Ergonomics and Material Manufacturing (Characterization of polymers, Advance Materials and Nano-Composites: Microstructures, Thermo-Mechanical, Electrical and Mechanical Property relationship studies in pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Automobile and Marine Materials; Numerical Modeling of Nano Composite and Advance Materials Production Processes)

A Case of Smart Manufacturing, Investigation of the effect of Microwave and Conventional oven curing of Small Diameter/ Multiwall Nanotube reinforced Epoxy Matrix Composites and Optimization of the Production Process, Investigation of the effect of Microwave and Conventional oven curing of Nano-Aluminium oxide reinforced Epoxy Matrix Composites and Optimization of the Production Process, Development and Optimization of Graphene-Epoxy Nano composites for light weight and high strength in Aerospace and Marine Applications

Dr. Adefemi O. Adeodu has supervised a total of thirty (30) students at undergraduate and master’s level. He has published more than fifty (50) articles in reputable international peer review journals and conference proceedings
