My research focus is on the development of metal alloys for high-temperature application in gas turbine engines. In addition, I search for potential graphene-based materials earmarked for energy storage application. I use computational simulations to predict the stability of metal alloys and graphene by employing density functional theory. In order to enhance stability of the systems, I   investigate the effect of doping on the on the structural, electronic, magnetic, thermodynamic and mechanical properties of the materials.
