Experimentalist: Solid State, Condensed Matter
My research is focused on producing and studying physical and chemical characteristics of zinc compounds such as zinc layered hydroxide salts (ZLHS) for photonic and gas sensing applications. I use low cost methods such as template-less and surfactant-free aqueous chemical growth (ACG) to synthesize zinc compounds.
