Topic 2: Applying the principles of critical thinking identifying different types of arguments writing sound arguments; editing and revising written arguments Module: English For Proposal-Research Writing (CEAR018) Content: Topic 1: The proposal structure distinguishing and analysing different types of proposals; writing the title, research problems, aims, questions; drawing up a well substantiated chapter outline of a proposal. Topic 2: The literature review and methodology writing a well-structured and well-substantiated theoretical framework, and literature review; writing a well-structured and well-substantiated research design and methodology. Topic 3 Referencing, editing and revising the first draft research proposal referencing correctly in-text and writing an appropriate reference list; writing and editing the research proposal; revising own and others proposals.
