Purpose: Syllabus/Content Topics: This module covers basic information and skills on the management of library and information services (LIS) specifically for children and youth. The purpose of this module is to equip students with the required theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential to design, plan and run an effective LIS for children and youth in different types of LIS, and specifically in school and public libraries. The module deals with management principles and functions necessary for managing LIS for children and youth effectively and efficiently. It also covers the development and implementation for the management LIS for children and youth. The module also deals with planning, organisation, information technology, marketing and evaluation of children and youth LIS.
