| Purpose: The content related to Energy and Change in the senior phase curriculum.
- Design learning programmes and units in Energy and Change. The focus will be on outlining and interpreting learning programme policy, learning programmes, work schedules and learning unit guidelines.
- Designing and planning of Energy and Change lessons.
- Different forms of assessment Related to Energy and Change: describing and illustrating the forms of assessment by means of practical classroom examples.
- The teacher as learning mediator in Natural Science and Technology. The focus will be on the ability to teach Energy and Change using a variety of teaching methods and strategies, learning opportunities including practical work.
- Handling learners with diverse learning needs in the senior phase.
