| Purpose: To equip students with an extended knowledge, of thermodynamics related to common systems such as compressors, turbines, boilers, condensers, refrigerators. With this integrated knowledge the students should be able to identify, analyse, evaluate, reflect on and address common thermodynamics problems related to these systems. This is accomplished by applying evidence-based solutions and theory-driven arguments associated with compressor, turbine, boiler, condenser, refrigerator thermodynamic systems. |
