Unisa Library Literature Search Service

The Department of Library and Information Services, University of South Africa, has a range of special services for Unisa staff and students. One such service is the Literature Search Service which is managed under the stewardship of the Directorate: Information Resources Distribution. The service is a bespoke service intended to provide in-depth, high standard literature searches. 

The Literature Search service is staffed by experienced academic librarians who are committed to a high level of service, and take pride in the service offered. 

You are invited to utilise this service as a Unisa Research Fellow/Associate, and the service can be accessed as follows:

  3. Complete the form and click on Submit once.   
  4. To receive an email confirmation of your request, please check the box at the end of the form.

  Please note that all communication regarding a literature search will be directed through your myLife mailbox as per the Unisa rules for students and staff.   

 If, at a later stage, you need to enquire about the status of a submitted request, send an email to lib-search@unisa.ac.za. It is important to include your full name, staff or student number and a contact telephone number in all your messages to us.
