Short Biography
Mrs Khoza is a junior lecturer who excels at reaching students from diverse backgrounds through effective teaching and learning. She is enthusiastic about supporting advancements in academia and increasing the body of knowledge to drive growth and societal improvements. She holds a BTech degree in mineral resource management from the University of Johannesburg. Before she joined Unisa, she worked as a surveyor in the mining industry for 14 years, and she has a wide knowledge of mining economics, planning, health and safety issues, and mineral properties. She is currently enrolled in a master’s degree programme at the University of Johannesburg. Her research focuses on sustainable mining.
